At Big Cedar Ranch, our houseparents are a dedicated Christian couple who God uses to lead our children from adversity to a future filled with peace, hope, and promise.
This role is much more than a job... it's a God calling!
Children come to Big Cedar Ranch who have been broken in a way that not many can relate or understand. They need to re-learn what real love is, not what they have been told. They need support and healing, but that takes patience, time, and commitment. They need to find a hope for their future, that they just can't see yet. They need an opportunity to heal and then to find their purpose. To grow into the girl that God intended them to be.

Houseparents serve in a full-time role, providing a healthy, Christ-centered home with the support of a like-minded community. We provide our houseparents the opportunity to parent the way they are led, within the framework of Big Cedar's core values and beliefs.
Each home at the Ranch is led by a godly husband and wife, and operates as close to ‘normal’ as possible, with children participating in school, in extracurricular and church-related activities, as well as theraputic and counseling services. Our parents invest in the lives of their children, so that they can heal from their past and grow into their purpose.
